No shocking result in a game when fifth rankedDuga (9-7) beat 10th ranked Student (4-12) in Sabac 76-68 on Sunday. Duga made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Duga outrebounded Student 41-21 including a 31-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American forward Audrey McElhaney (180-1997, college: Clayton St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field) and forward Olga Stepanovic (180-1994) supported her with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. McElhaney is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Duga's coach Vuk Stepanovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 32 points and 4 assists by Danica Djordjevic (-2004) did not help to save the game for Student . Ana-Marija Stojcic (175-1999) added 17 points for lost side. Duga have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 9-7 record. Newly promoted Student keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Topolcanka.
