Bottom-rankedSilute managed to get the second consecutive victory on Thursday night. This time they won against thirteenth-ranked Neptunas-Akv. in Klaipeda 94-83 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Neptunas-Akv.. Silute dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas-Akv. 's 34. Silute forced 20 Neptunas-Akv. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Silute made 23 blocks. American guard Pat Robinson III (190, college: Charleston) stepped up and scored 26 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Ukrainian power forward Vadym Prokopenko (206-1995, agency: BIG) chipped in 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side Klaidas Metrikis (204-2000) responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and center Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-1985, college: Virginia) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Silute maintains fourteenth place with 10-27 record. Loser Neptunas-Akv. dropped to the twelfth position with 26 games lost. They share it with Rytas 2.
