Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth rankedBuyukcekmece and 14th ranked Bodrum had identical 7-13 record. This time Buyukcekmece used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Mugla 108-71 on Saturday night. Buyukcekmece shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 57.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was American Evan Bruinsma (202-1992, college: Detroit) who scored 31 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Marcquise Reed (190-1995, college: Clemson, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 32 points and 6 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Jaron Johnson (196-1992, college: La Tech) who recorded 16 points and Jordanian center Ahmet Duverioglu (212-1993) added 10 points respectively. Four Cagdas BS players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Buyukcekmece (8-13) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bursaspor and Bahcesehir. Newly promoted Cagdas BS keeps the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Merkezefendi.
