There was a surprise result when eighth rankedEnBW Ludwigsburg (14-8) beat on the road one of their biggest challengers Rasta Vechta (14-8) 86-72 on Saturday. Ludwigsburg made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Vechta turnovers. American guard Jayvon Graves (191-1998, college: Buffalo) scored 28 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Desure Buie (182-1997, college: Hofstra) chipped in 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American guard Tommy Kuhse (188-1998, college: SMC) responded with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Joel-Sadu Aminu (193-1997) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ludwigsburg moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ulm and Vechta.
