Everything went according to plan when second rankedSkyliners (19-7) beat on the road 9th ranked Bayreuth (13-13) 80-62 on Sunday. Frankfurt forced 19 Bayreuth turnovers. The best player for the winners was naturalized American guard Kevin McClain (190-1996, college: Belmont) who scored 15 points. Nigerian-American forward Josh Ajayi (201-1996, college: USA, agency: Players Group) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. Skyliners' coach Denis Wucherer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Swiss guard Selim Fofana (193-1999) produced 20 points and Lenny Liedtke (198-2004) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Frankfurt maintains second position with 19-7 record having just two points less than leader Trier. Loser Bayreuth keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost.
