Very predictable result when third rankedMersin (22-7) beat on the road 12th ranked TED Ankara (11-18) 84-70 on Sunday. Swingman Canberk Kus (198-1996, college: Arkansas St.) stepped up and scored 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American Gerel Simmons (189-1993, college: LMU, agency: Diamond Sports) chipped in 17 points. Mersin's coach Semih Soguksu used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Julien Ducree (206-1997, college: Utah Tech) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Teyvon Myers (188-1994, college: WVU) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mersin have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row.
