Rather predictable result when fifth ranked46ers (20-9) won against 7th ranked Muenster (16-12) in Giessen 98-94 on Saturday. The winners were led by Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) who scored that evening 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard Duane Wilson (190-1994, college: Texas A&M) supported him with 22 points and 4 steals. Wilson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 27 points and 6 rebounds by center Adam Touray (206-1994) did not help to save the game for Muenster . American forward Nathan Scott (203-1999, college: EMU) added 11 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Five Giessen and four Muenster players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. 46ers have an impressive five-game winning streak. Giessen moved-up to third place. Loser Muenster keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Karlsruhe PS.
