The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th rankedRm Valcea 's (8-5) home loss to twelfth ranked Targu Jiu (10-3) 96-100 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 54-47 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Dimitrius Underwood (193-1998, college: Charleston) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Bosnian forward Arsenije Vuckovic (206-1998) who added 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. American guard Isaiah Williams (188-1995, college: Georgia St.) responded with 24 points and 5 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and his fellow American import guard Stephaun Branch (196-1995, college: UWG, agency: Slash Sports) scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Rm Valcea players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Targu Jiu maintains twelfth position with 10-3 record. Newly promoted Rm Valcea keeps the thirteenth place with five games lost. They share the position with Timisoara.
