Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Rm Valcea and 14th ranked Timisoara had identical 8-5 record. But Timisoara was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Ramnicu Valcea 94-92 on Friday night. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 25-19 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Stephaun Branch (196-1995, college: UWG, agency: Slash Sports) nailed 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side and Anton Rotaru (188-2002, agency: VM Hoops Agency) accounted for 18 points. Four Rm Valcea players scored in double figures. Serbian-Bosnian point guard Nikola Gajic (195-1991, college: SF Austin) came up with 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian guard Luka Mitrovic (191-1996) added 20 points and 7 assists respectively for Timisoara in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Rm Valcea maintains thirteenth place with 9-5 record. Timisoara lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Ploiesti CSM.
