The most exciting game of round 7 in the Proliga took place in Sangalhos. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of much higher rankedSangalhos (12-9) to fifth ranked CAB Madeira (12-9) 72-69 in the game for the second place. Strangely Sangalhos outrebounded CAB Madeira 46-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward William Loyd (196-1998, college: Xavier, LA) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Cody Schwartz (203-1997, college: Green Bay, agency: Starting 5) contributed with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jalen Johnson (198-1997, college: MSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and forward Rickey Boyd (200-1999) added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Sangalhos. Four Sangalhos players scored in double figures. CAB Madeira have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Sangalhos .
