Rather expected game when 14th rankedMerkezefendi (9-17) lost to twelfth ranked Bursaspor (11-15) in Denizl 82-87 on Saturday. American Anthony Brown (199-1992, college: Stanford) notched 25 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) to lead the effort and French point guard David Michineau (191-1994) supported him with 17 points and 5 assists. Five Bursaspor players scored in double figures. Even 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Croatian Roko Badzim (194-1997) did not help to save the game for Merkezefendi . American center Jehyve Floyd (203-1997, college: Holy Cross) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the hosts. Merkezefendi's coach Zafer Aktas tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bursaspor moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Turk Telekom. Loser Merkezefendi keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost.
