An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Mykolaiv. Second rankedSambir faced 3rd placed MBC-Niko 2 . Guests from Sambir (28-5) defeated host MBC-Niko 2 (24-9) 90-78 . It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of MBC-Niko 2. MBC-Niko 2 was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 45-29 second half run of Sambir . They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to MBC-Niko 2 's 40 and made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-Russian center Aleksey Adediran (206-1982, college: Binghamton, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Anatoliy Konev (192-1992) contributed with 24 points and 4 steals for the winners. Four Sambir players scored in double figures. Guard Bogdan Lukian (183-1999) answered with 34 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Oleksandr Garbar (200-2001) added 12 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for MBC-Niko 2. Sambir maintains second place with 28-5 record having five points less than leader Prometey. MBC-Niko 2 at the other side keeps the third position with nine games lost.
