There was a surprise result when eighth rankedRm Valcea 2 (3-8) crushed 4th placed Constanta 2 (5-5) in Ramnicu Valcea 86-57 on Sunday. The game without a history. Rm Valcea 2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Constanta 2 's 26. Rm Valcea 2 forced 22 Constanta 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 49-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Rm Valcea 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Constanta 2 's players. Guard Andreas Blidaru (183-2006) nailed 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Christos Ciriperu (-2003) accounted for 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Rm Valcea 2's coach Darko Pandurovic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erik Began came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and Davide Mihai (-2004) added 16 points and 5 assists respectively for Constanta 2 in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rm Valcea 2 moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Targu Jiu 2. Constanta 2 at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth position with five games lost.
