Bottom-rankedOrmanspor managed to get a twelfth victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses on Saturday night. This time they won against fifteenth-ranked Kocaeli in Ankara 84-78 . Ormanspor dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kocaeli 's 26. They outrebounded Kocaeli 37-18 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American center Eric Buckner (208-1990, college: Georgia St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Oguzhan Tosun (191-1996) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Ormanspor players scored in double figures. Ormanspor's coach Fikret Karacam used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard JaCori Payne (180-1996, college: Columbus St.) answered with 31 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and the former international point guard Kevin Kaspar (183-1992, college: WKU) added 11 points, 10 assists and 5 steals in the effort for Kocaeli. Ormanspor maintains eighteenth place with 12-22 record. Kocaeli at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 21 games lost. They share it with Konyaspor and Haremspor.
