There was no surprise in Bonn where 14th rankedBG Goettingen (8-20) was defeated by eighth ranked Telekom Baskets (17-11) 95-85 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Canadian forward Thomas Kennedy (206-2000, college: Windsor) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Norwegian point guard Harald Frey (188-1997, college: Montana St.) who added 16 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side Latvian center Karlis Silins (210-1997, college: FAU) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Montenegrin Fedor Zugic (196-2003) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bonn and five Goettingen players scored in double figures. Bonn moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ludwigsburg and Vechta. Loser BG Goettingen dropped to the thirteenth position with 20 games lost. They share it with Weissenfels.
