Regular Season Round 28: Rostock - Ulm 71-96
Date: April 14, 2024
Not a big story in a game in Rostock where 15th rankedSeawolves (7-20) were outplayed by fifth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (19-9) 96-71 on Sunday. Ulm looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Trevion Williams (206-2000, college: Purdue) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and Brazilian point guard Georginho de Paula (197-1996) who added 12 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Tyler Nelson (191-1995, college: Fairfield) responded with 12 points and 7 assists and his fellow American import Derrick Alston Jr (206-1997, college: Boise St.) scored 18 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ratiopharm Ulm have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 19-9 record. Loser Seawolves keeps the fifteenth place with 20 games lost. Ulm will meet at home Weissenfels (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rostock will play against Wuerzburg and hope to secure a win.
