The game had a very big importance for second-rankedZalgiris as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Zalgiris defeated 6th ranked SKM I in Kaunas 88-73 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of SKM I. The game was mostly controlled by Zalgiris. SKM I managed to win fourth quarter 24-14 .
