There was a surprise result in Bursa where fourteenth rankedTofas (11-16) outleveled higher ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (19-9) 111-91 on Sunday. Tofas made 26-of-29 free shots (89.7 percent) during the game. Tofas outrebounded Pinar Karsiyaka 33-17 including 25 on the defensive glass. Tofas shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Caleb Homesley (198-1996, college: Liberty) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Cassius Winston (185-1997, college: Michigan St.) who added 29 points (made all of his eight free throws) during the contest. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Errick McCollum (188-1988, college: Goshen) responded with 38 points (!!!) and 5 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and Vitto Brown (203-1995, college: Wisconsin) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tofas moved-up to thirteenth place. Pinar Karsiyaka at the other side dropped to the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Besiktas.
