We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Kastrup where 10th rankedHolbaek (5-23) was defeated by eleventh ranked Amager (5-23) 99-91 on Friday. Amager forced 21 Holbaek turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Tomas Bjarkason (204-1999, college: Lewis) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-1999) who added 23 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Peter Beier-Christiansen (204-2002) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago guard Zidane Moore (188-2001, college: Lewis & Clark) scored 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Amager and four Holbaek players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Amager have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Holbaek. Holbaek lost third consecutive game.
