Date: April 27, 2024
Rather expected game when 9th rankedHerlev (6-22) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Copenhagen (17-11) 82-65 on Saturday. Copenhagen looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Copenhagen made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Martin Poulsen (195-1998, college: Mt.St.Mary's) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 assists and forward Willas Moller (196-2006) who added 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Silas Braikia (180-2007) with 21 points and 4 assists and guard Igor Bakic (200-2000) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Copenhagen have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 17-11 record. Loser Herlev keeps the ninth place with 22 games lost.
