No shocking result in a game when second rankedAgronomia (9-5) beat on the road 7th ranked Gheorgheni (4-10) 73-65 on Saturday. Gheorgheni trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 24-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 65-73 at the end of the game. Agronomia dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Gheorgheni 's 32. They outrebounded Gheorgheni 50-39 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Laurentiu Dumitrescu (190-2001) who scored that evening 16 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Cristian Mocritchi (187-2000, agency: BIG) supported him with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Matyas Lokody (190-1987) did not help to save the game for Gheorgheni . Center Tamas Bodo (-2003) added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Agronomia maintains second position with 9-5 record having five points less than leader Targu Mures 2. Gheorgheni lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with ten games lost.
