Very expected game when 17th rankedHakro Merlins (7-24) were defeated on the road by tenth ranked Hamburg Towers (15-16) 94-88 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was a great evening for American guard Aljami Durham (193-1998, college: Providence) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 5 steals. His fellow American import guard William Christmas (196-1996, college: CPP) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Keandre Cook (194-1997, college: Missouri St.) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Brazilian point guard Alexey Borges (185-1995) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Five Hamburg and four Crailsheim players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hamburg maintains tenth place with 15-16 record. Loser Hakro Merlins keeps the seventeenth position with 24 games lost.
