Not a big story in a game when 18th rankedTigers (6-26) lost to ninth ranked EWE Baskets (17-15) in Oldenburg 63-79 on Saturday. The winners were led by American guard Geno Crandall (191-1996, college: Gonzaga) who scored that evening 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Nigerian power forward Ebuka Izundu (208-1996, college: Miami, FL) supported him with 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Even 20 points by Austrian Erol Ersek (194-1999) did not help to save the game for Tuebingen . Center Daniel Keppeler (205-1997, college: Regnitztal) added 8 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Oldenburg maintains ninth position with 17-15 record. Tuebingen lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 26 lost games.
