Miskolc dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to UNI Gyor 's 26. They outrebounded UNI Gyor 42-22 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Miskolc looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by UNI Gyor 's players. French center Ana Tadic (197-1998) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and international guard Reka Lelik (181-1999) supported her with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Miskolc's coach Peter Volgyi felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points by international Debora Dubei (184-1997) did not help to save the game for UNI Gyor . The former international point guard Dora Ruff-Nagy (164-1995) added 10 points and 4 assists for the hosts. Five Miskolc and four UNI Gyor players scored in double figures.
