Regular Season Round 32: Vechta - Goettingen 81-75

There was no surprise when 13th rankedBG Goettingen (10-22) lost on the road to sixth ranked Rasta Vechta (20-12) 81-75 on Sunday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The winners were led by American guard Tommy Kuhse (188-1998, college: SMC) who scored that evening 23 points and 7 assists and center Johann Gruenloh (210-2005) supported him with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Even 13 points and 5 assists by American guard Umoja Gibson (185-1998, college: DePaul) did not help to save the game for Goettingen . His fellow American import guard Bodie Hume (198-1999, college: N.Colorado) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Vechta maintains sixth position with 20-12 record. Loser BG Goettingen keeps the thirteenth place with 22 games lost. They share the position with Weissenfels.
