A very close game took place in Weissenfels betweenMBC and EnBW Ludwigsburg . Fourteenth ranked MBC (10-22) got a very close home victory over higher ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (18-14). MBC managed to escape with a 1-point win 91-90 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The winners were led by American guard Johnathan Stove (193-1995, college: Louisiana) who scored that evening 28 points and Martin Breunig (203-1992, college: Montana) supported him with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Stove is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 16 points and 8 rebounds by American Jeff Roberson (198-1996, college: Vanderbilt) did not help to save the game for Ludwigsburg . His fellow American import guard Jayvon Graves (191-1998, college: Buffalo) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the guests. Four Weissenfels and five Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. EnBW Ludwigsburg's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Weissenfels moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Goettingen. Loser EnBW Ludwigsburg keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost.
