There was a minor upset whenSibiu lost on the road to Targu Mures 89-75 on Friday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Targu Mures looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Montenegrin point guard Goran Martinic (187-1987, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) notched 21 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and Montenegrin forward Goran Gajovic (199-1988, agency: 011 Sports) supported him with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Targu Mures players scored in double figures. Targu Mures' coach Peter Farago used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by American point guard Jay Threatt (180-1989, college: Delaware St.) did not help to save the game for Sibiu . His fellow American import guard Jalon Pipkins (193-1998, college: PFW) added 14 points for the guests.
