Regular Season Round 4: Artland - Vechta 2 99-62

ProA top team -Artland Dragons (4-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Vechta-2 (0-4) in Quakenbrueck 99-62 . Artland dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Vechta-2 's 22. Artland forced 20 Vechta 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 42-27 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American point guard Buzz Anthony (180-1998, college: RMC) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and the other American import guard Taylor Johnson (193-1994, college: Dartmouth) supported him with 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. Artland Dragons' coach Vincent Macaulay felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Danish guard Jonathan Klussmann (190-2002) did not help to save the game for Vechta 2 . Naturalized Croatian center Marko Bacak (210-1995) added 13 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Artland Dragons have a solid four-game winning streak.
