No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedBrasov (3-1) edged on the road 12th ranked Craiova (1-3) 78-76 on Saturday. Craiova was trailing by 8 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 23-17 charge of Brasov, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Strangely Craiova outrebounded Brasov 31-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Slovakian guard Andre Jones (191-1990, college: Winthrop, agency: VM Hoops Agency) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 assists and American forward Juwan Gray (203-1996, college: Towson, agency: Blacktop Management) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Brasov players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Austin Crowley (196-2000, college: Southern Miss) responded with 22 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Samajae Haynes-Jones (185-1996, college: Wichita St., agency: One Motive Sports) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brasov have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Sibiu. Loser Craiova keeps the twelfth position with three games lost. They share it with Pitesti and Constanta.
