Baskets Grunberg 's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Rotenburg/Scheessel (1-3) 73-61 on Saturday. Gruenberg forced 23 Rotenburg turnovers. The winners were led by center Charlotte Kohl (196-2000, college: N.Mexico) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and American guard Samantha Coleman (175, college: WCU) supported her with 17 points. Four Baskets Grunberg players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists by Canadian forward Keowa Walters (183-2000, college: VCU, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Rotenburg . American Sam Deem (185-2001, college: Regis Univ.) added 11 points and 11 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baskets Grunberg left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Rotenburg/Scheessel .
