Round in ProA means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Karlsruhe where hostLions (2-3) beat league's leader Artland Dragons (4-1) 87-72 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Artland Dragons. Karlsruhe PS forced 23 Artland turnovers. Strangely Artland outrebounded Karlsruhe PS 39-25 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard OShowen Williams (180-1997, college: App State) who scored 23 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 steals. Point guard Lukas Herzog (186-2001, agency: LHZ Sport Agency) chipped in 18 points. Four Lions players scored in double figures. American forward Tajh Green (203-1998, college: Benedict) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import point guard Buzz Anthony (180-1998, college: RMC) added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Artland Dragons' coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karlsruhe PS moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Koblenz. Artland at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with 4 other teams. They were replaced at the leadership position by Jena.
