The game had a very big importance for second-rankedRivne as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Rivne defeated 6th ranked Stariy Lutsk at home 61-52 . The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Stariy Lutsk won third quarter 23-17 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rivne dominated on the defensive end, holding Stariy Lutsk to just 6 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Stariy Lutsk 42-28 including 20 on the offensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Roderick Brown (201, college: Tarleton St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Isaiah Fuller (188-2000, college: Nova SE) who added 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Rivne's coach Mikhail Pereverziy used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Aaron Ridley III (197, college: Cumberland) responded with 17 points and point guard Marquis Jackson (183-1998, college: North Park) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Kyiv Basket. Stariy Lutsk lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with four games lost.
