There was no surprise when 7th rankedStariy Lutsk (1-5) was crushed at home by first ranked Rivne (5-1) 81-60 on Monday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-60. Rivne dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Stariy Lutsk 's 18. Forward Maksym Mochalov (201-1995) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Dmytro Tymoshchuk (189-1995) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Rivne players scored in double figures. American forward Aaron Ridley III (197, college: Cumberland) responded with 22 points and the other American import point guard Marquis Jackson (183-1998, college: North Park) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rivne . Despite that victory Rivne went down to second position due to points difference. Stariy Lutsk lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh place with five games lost.
