Chekhovsky's 20 points and 6 rebounds give him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

18-year old swingman Kirill Chekhovsky (194-F/G-2008) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked COR-Borisfen Mogilev 2nd Team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had the game-high 20 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Borisfen 2 in his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team SDUSHOR-Viktoria (#6, 0-1) with 38-point margin 84-46. Borisfen 2 maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Belarusian league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Borisfen 2 won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Chekhovsky has many years of experience at Borisfen 2, through which he has constantly improved. Chekhovsky has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (4th best: 20.0ppg) and averages solid 5.0spg and 88.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Egor Skuratov (190-G-2005) of top-ranked COR-Borisfen Mogilev. He is Russian guard in his first season at Borisfen. In the last game Skuratov recorded an impressive 27 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for Borisfen to edge Rubon (2-1) by 3 points 84-81. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Skuratov is a newcomer at Borisfen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 3.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Aleksandr Kozeletskiy (2011) of RGUOR Minsk (#7). Kozeletskiy scored 28 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Despite Kozeletskiy's great performance the RGUOR lost 61-79 to Gomel 2 (#3, 1-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Kozeletskiy has individually a great season in Belarus. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 21.5ppg (2nd best).
