Head's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old American point guard Jermaine Head (186-PG-1997) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Minyor 2015 Pernik and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
He got a double-double of 27 points and 10 assists, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Botev (#12, 0-4) with 28-point margin 110-82. Minyor 2015 maintains the 2nd position in Bulgarian league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Minyor 2015 already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Head had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Minyor 2015's top player in his first season with the team. Wilmington University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Head is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.0ppg) and averages solid 2.5spg,61.5% FGP and 42.1% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Sean Moore (201-F-2002) of Akademik Plovdiv. He is American forward in his first season at Akademik P.. In the last game Moore recorded an impressive 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course he led Akademik to another comfortable win outscoring Levski (#13, 0-4) 91-65. This victory allowed Akademik to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Moore is a newcomer at Akademik and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Daniel Saylor (211-C-2001) of BC Beroe Stara Zagora (#9). Saylor scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Beroe, leading his team to a 99-58 easy win against Polytechnica (#14, 0-4). Beroe can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Saylor has a very solid season. In 4 games in Bulgaria he scored 13.3ppg.
