CEWL round 2 best performance: Jeanae Terry (by Hoops Agents)

American Point guard Jeanae Terry (155-PG-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Kara Trutnov, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (4 points, fourteen rebounds and twelve assists) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Chomutov (#2, 2-1) 76-61. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Trutnov to take over top position in the CEWL. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Trutnov won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. It was one of impressive evenings for Terry as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Former Purdue University star has very solid stats this year. Terry is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 9.0rpg), assists (2nd best: 7.5apg) and averages impressive 3.0spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Rhema Ogele (190-C-2003) of Sokol ZVUS Hradec Kralove. Ogele had a very good evening with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Hradec Kralove was edged by Triglav (1-2) 75-71. The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Ogele is a newcomer at Hradec Kralove, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.0ppg (#6). She also registered 6.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Chloe Moore-McNeil (180-G-2002) of league's second-best DSK Levhartice Chomutov. Moore-McNeil scored 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Moore-McNeil's great performance the Chomutov lost 61-76 to #1 ranked Trutnov. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Chomutov needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 2 victories and 1 lost games. Moore-McNeil has a great season in CEWL. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.7ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (3rd best).
