Lyde Nalani's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Nalani Lyde Nalani (180-F ) had a very impressive game in the last round for ZKK Plamen Pozega and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 28 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Tresnjevka (#6, 3-2) 72-57. Pozega is placed at 3rd position in Croatian Premijer Liga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Pozega will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Lyde Nalani turned to be Pozega's top player in her first season with the team. Providence College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lyde Nalani is in league's top in points (5th best: 21.8ppg), rebounds (7th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 58.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Katarina Trehub (192-C-1997) of Kosarkaska Akademija Zana Lelas Split. She is a center in her first season at KAZL Split. In the last game Trehub recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 17 rebounds. Bad luck as KAZL Split lost that game 66-72 to league's leader Sibenik (#1, 5-0). KAZL Split is still in a red zone at 7th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Trehub is a newcomer at KAZL Split and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.4ppg (#1). She also registered 14.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Marta Ostojic (186-G-2003) of ZKK Zagreb (#5). Ostojic scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was a key player of Zagreb, leading her team to a 84-56 easy win against Medvescak (#11, 0-5). Zagreb needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Ostojic has a very solid season. In 4 games in Croatia she scored 16.5ppg.
