AEL defeat Omonia to clinch B1 title - Apr 19, 2018


AEL celebrated B1 title. They swept the title series versus Omonia. AEL celebrated the trophy after the decisive third win 83:64. Ilias Daniel (187-G-85) stepped up with 23 points to lead the champions. AEL led by just a single point after ten minutes 15:14. However they stretched the gap at 14-point mark at halftime. AEL maintained the advantage throughout the second half and raced to the triumph. Andreas Markou (195-F-89) contributed 16 points in the victory. Omonia answered with 23 points from Dimitris Gabriel (189-SF-94).
