Czech Republic NBL round 6 best performance: Marek Houska (by Hoops Agents)

Point guard Marek Houska (194-PG-2009) had an amazing evening in the last round for BK Armex Decin, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 17-year old player tried to help (25 points, seven rebounds and eight assists) his team in a lost game to H.Kralove (#8, 2-4) 93-99. Decin moved-up to the 4th position in Czech Republic NBL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Decin will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 4-2 record. It's Houska's second year at Decin and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Marek Houska averages this season 11.5ppg and 4.3apg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Serbian Marko Sinik (190-G-1998, agency: 011 Sports) of BK GAPA Hradec Kralove. Sinik had a very good evening with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 7 assists. It was enough for H.Kralove to edge the higher-ranked Decin (#4, 4-2) 99-93. This victory allowed H.Kralove to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Sinik is a newcomer at H.Kralove, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was international Jakub Slavik (199-SF-1999) of BK Opava (#7). Slavik scored 21 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was a key player of Opava, leading his team to a 97-88 win against slightly lower-ranked USK Praha (#9, 2-4). Opava needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 3 lost games. Slavik has a very solid season. In 4 games in Czech Republic he scored 10.0ppg.
