Pavel Czudek claims Czech Republic 1Liga Hoops Agents weekly honour

Talented Pavel Czudek (161-PG-2006) had a very impressive game in the last round for BK Nova Hut Ostrava and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents 1Liga Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 20-year old playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding six rebounds and nine assists for MS Academy in his team's victory, helping them to beat Opava 2010 (1-4) 93-84. NH Ostrava is placed at 9th position in Czech Republic 1Liga. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 4 games and had just one victory. Czudek turned to be NH Ostrava's top player in his first season with the team. Czudek has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 20.5ppg. Czudek is in league's top in assists (5th best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 3.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young point guard Vojtech Synacek (190-PG-2006) of PUMPA Basket Brno. Synacek impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Brno to another comfortable win outscoring slightly higher-ranked Slavia ZB (#4, 3-2) 95-59. This victory allowed Brno to move up to 6th position in East. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Synacek is a newcomer at Brno and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Josef Gabriel (194-G-2006) of top-ranked BK Armex Decin. Gabriel scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He was a key player of Decin, leading his team to a 97-90 win against the lower-ranked Sokol Prazsky (#5, 2-3). Decin started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in West. Gabriel turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Gabriel has a very solid season. In 4 games in Czech Republic he scored 15.8ppg.
