Rybarik's double-double lands him U19 League Player of the Week award

18-year old Tomas Rybarik (2008) had a very impressive game in the last round for Cz.Academy Praha and receives a Hoops Agents U19 League Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Pardubice (#8, 2-3) 70-62. Cz.Academy is placed at 6th position in Czech Republic U19 League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Cz.Academy will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Rybarik had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Cz.Academy's top player in his first season with the team. Rybarik has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 23.2ppg), rebounds (4th best: 10.4rpg), assists (9th best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 3.4spg.

Second best performed player last round was Krystof Davidek (203-F-2008) of Cz.Academy Praha. He is a forward in his first season at Nymburk. In the last game Davidek recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Cz.Academy lost that game 70-86 to slightly higher-ranked Tygri Brno (#7, 2-2). Cz.Academy is still in a red zone at 9th spot in the standings. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Cz.Academy managed to get this year. Davidek is a newcomer at Cz.Academy and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.8ppg (#3). He also registered 13.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Vojtech Gronsky (192-F-2009) of league's second-best BK Opava. Gronsky got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . He was a key player of Opava, leading his team to a 72-70 win against #3 ranked Decin in a game of the week. Opava is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad... Gronsky has a great season in Czech Republic. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.2ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 10.2rpg (7th best).
