McKenna's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

22-year old American forward Ezra McKenna (208-F-2004) had an amazing evening in the last round for Horsens IC and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
He had a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Holbaek-Stenhus (#9, 2-4) 97-83. Horsens IC is placed at 3rd position in Danish league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Horsens IC will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game McKenna had a remarkable 69.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Horsens IC's top player in his first season with the team. The University of Buffalo graduate has very impressive stats this year. McKenna is in league's top in points (9th best: 16.8ppg), rebounds (4th best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 63.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Alejandro Moreno (193-G-2004) of Gladsaxe BK. He is Spanish guard in his first season at Gladsaxe. In the last game Moreno recorded an impressive double-double of 26 points and 12 assists. Of course he led Gladsaxe to another comfortable win 89-72 over slightly higher-ranked Vejen (#7, 2-3) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Gladsaxe to move up to 8th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Moreno is a newcomer at Gladsaxe and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Gladsaxe's star - forward Henry Shannon III (201-F-2002). Shannon III showcased his all-around game by recording 26 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Gladsaxe BK, helping his team with a 89-72 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Vejen (#7, 2-3). Shannon III has individually a great season in Denmark. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.0rpg (3rd best). He also has 1.3bpg and a FGP of 55.7%.
