Jelizaveta Naidjonova claims EGBL U19 Hoops Agents weekly honour

Talented Jelizaveta Naidjonova (176-PG-2009) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Daugavpils U19 team and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
The 17-year old playmaker had the game-high 21 points adding four rebounds and five assists for Daugavpils in her team's victory, helping them to beat Frankivsk (3-1) 55-50. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Daugavpils maintains the 2nd position in EGBL U19 . They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Daugavpils will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. It's Naidjonova's second year at Daugavpils and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Naidjonova has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 16.3ppg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Patricija Tikmere (180-F-2009) of league's best team TTT Juniores. Tikmere impressed basketball fans with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course TTT Juniores cruised to a 45-35 relatively comfortable win over MOBI-SDYUSHOR (1-3). A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Tikmere is a newcomer at TTT Juniores and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.8ppg (#4).

The third best performed player last round was Amelija Belasova of Cesis/Cesu PSS (#5). Belasova scored 15 points. She was a key player of Cesis, leading her team to a 70-42 easy win against MOBI-SDYUSHOR (#7, 1-3). Cesis needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Belasova has a very solid season. In 4 games in EGBL U19 she scored 7.5ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
