Johansson's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

Tyra Johansson had a great game in the last round for BC Norrkoping Dolphins U17 team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team RDF Eagles (#12, 0-12) with 75-point margin 94-19. Norrkoping is placed at 3rd position in EGBL U17. Norrkoping is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-6 record. Johansson turned to be Norrkoping's top player in her first season with the team. Johansson has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 16.4ppg) and averages solid 2.8bpg.

Second best performed player last round was Helena Lull (2009) of TSA/CITYTEED Tallinn. She is a in her first season at TSA. In the last game Lull recorded an impressive double-double of 15 points and 14 rebounds. Of course TSA Tallinn cruised to a 46-37 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Tartu (#10, 2-5). This victory allowed TSA Tallinn to move up to 7th position in the standings. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Lull is a newcomer at TSA Tallinn and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 11.5ppg (#5). She also registered 8.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Vilte Peleckyte (169-G-2009) of league's second-best BC Deives Druskininkai U17 team. Peleckyte scored 20 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Despite Peleckyte's great performance the Deives lost 72-75 to #1 ranked Riga/Centrs. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Deives needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 4 lost games. The season just started for Peleckyte as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be team's leader.
