The most interesting game of round 3 was a derby match between two teams from Latvia. Riga/Jugla outleveled visiting Riga/TTP (0-4) 78-37. Riga/Jugla held Riga/TTP to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Riga/Jugla forced 29 Riga/TTP turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Tina Karlsone (-2008) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Estonian guard Kitija Dzilnina (169-2006) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Justine Kalnina (-2007) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Riga/TTP's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win.

Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
