Riga/Centrs forced 20 Stara Tura turnovers and outrebounded them 47-21 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Sarah Svitekova produced 11 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Danish Aabyhoj at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Latvian Riga/Centrs 75-63. orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 6 rebounds. Nadine Graudina contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Mille Soerensen replied with 43 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (was perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line !!!) for Aabyhoj. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
Very important is a home loss of Estonian TalTech against Latvian Cesis on Sunday night. Host TalTech was defeated by Cesis in Tallinn 59-47. Marija Dzihora scored 16 points to lead the charge for the winners. Cesis' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Aleksandra Zubkova responded with 7 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals.
