EGBL U17 round 5 best performance: Mille Soerensen

Mille Soerensen had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked BC Aabyhoj U17 team, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The player was the main contributor (30 points, five rebounds and two assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Tartu (#10, 2-10) with 83-point margin 107-24. Aabyhoj maintains the 2nd position in EGBL U17 . Aabyhoj has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team's last game Soerensen had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. She turned to be Aabyhoj's top player in her first season with the team. Mille Soerensen has solid league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 30.4ppg. Soerensen is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 7.8rpg) and averages impressive 3.6spg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Helena Lull (2009) of TSA/CITYTEED Tallinn. Lull had a very good evening with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as TSA Tallinn lost that game 51-71 to the higher-ranked Frankivsk (#3, 9-3). TSA Tallinn is still in a red zone at 9th spot in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-8 record. Lull is a newcomer at TSA Tallinn, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.1ppg (#7). She also registered 6.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Aabyhoj's star - Fedora Iyamu. Iyamu showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of BC Aabyhoj U17 team, helping her team with a 107-24 easy win against the lower-ranked Tartu (#10, 2-10). Many experts and fans count Aabyhoj as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. Iyamu has a great season in EGBL U17. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 10.6ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 11.0rpg (4th best).
