Round 11: Derby game ends with RSU's defeat of TTT Riga

Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The most interesting game of round 11 was a derby match between two teams from Latvia. Second ranked RSU won against visiting TTT Riga (2-5) 76-71. RSU made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Guard Mara Mote (178-2000, college: Arizona) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Enija Viksne (178-2004) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Ilze Jakobsone (168-1994) answered with 23 points and 4 assists for TTT Riga. RSU have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 3-4 record behind leader Neptunas. TTT Riga lost fourth consecutive game. Defending Latvian champion keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Siauliai and SBS Ostrava.
An interesting game for Lithuanian Neptunas (4-3) which played road game in Ostrava against 4th placed Czech SBS Ostrava (2-5). First ranked Neptunas managed to get a 13-point victory 67-54. It was a great evening for Cameroonian swingman Linda Ndoli (193-1995, agency: DC Sports) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Viktoria Balaban helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Adela Smutna (183-1999, college: Northwest JC) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. SBS Ostrava's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Neptunas have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 4-3 record, which they share with Frankivsk and Chomutov. SBS Ostrava lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with five games lost. They share it with TTT Riga and Siauliai.

Neptunas players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for Cameroonian swingman Linda Ndoli (193-1995, agency: DC Sports) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Ukrainian swingman Viktoria Balaban (176-1997, agency: BIG) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Adela Smutna (183-1999, college: Northwest JC) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Eliska Kubickova (174-2003) scored 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
