Ukraine secured Division A promotion as they beat Netherlands to advance into Final in Pitesti. Netherlands posted a 20-14 lead after ten minutes. But Ukraine responded with a 20-13 rally in the second term to eke out a one-point lead at the big break. Ukraine used a 36-25 second half run to seal the victory. Nazar Kholod (203-SF-2004, agency: BIG) scored 17 points, while Kyrylo Skutyelnik (192-G-2004) contributed 16 points for Ukraine. Timothy George (202-F-2005) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds for Netherlands.

Finland - Romania 72-77
Romania advanced into the title game in Pitesti. The hosts used a strong 28-14 fourth-quarter rally to beat Finland clinching Division A berth. Finland piled up a 9-point lead at the final break. But Romania counter punched late in the game to seal a crucial win. Dragos Lungu (198-G-2004) tallied 16 points, while Tudor Somacescu (191-PG-2005) added 15 points for the hosts. Viljami Virtiainen answered with 20 points for Finland.
