Cyprus celebrate the title; Norway finish second

Malta - Norway 48-64
Norway earned the second place in Cyprus. They beat Malta in the final game at the tournament to secure the Silver medals. Norway trailed by four points after ten minutes. But they responded with a 21-9 run in the second term to spur ahead. Norway held their opponents to just 21 points in the second half and raced to the victory. Stine Austgulen (180-G-1994, college: Colorado St.) tallied 39 points to pace the winners. Sophie Abela (178-G-1999) answered with 13 points for Malta.

Andorra - Cyprus 51-86
Cyprus clinched the title at the championship. They wrapped up their perfect home campaign with a comfortable win over Andorra. Cyprus recorded a 42-21 halftime lead. They dropped 44 points in the second half and cruised to the victory. Petra Orlovic (178-F/G-1990) scored 18 points, while Eleni Pilakouta (192-C-2000) had 14 points in the win. Claudia Brunet (168-PG-1996) and Claudia Guri (189-C-1995) answered with 14 points each for Andorra.
